Networking is not subject to finicky rural power.
The data center has a 100% power uptime guarantee, thanks to multi-level power management. Starting inside the data center, 4800 volts of input power is partly regulated by standalone PDUs at each cabinet row.
Electricity is supplied by three input electrical feeds to two different TXU city grids in downtown Dallas. In the event of failure, power is automatically switched to six 500KVA Powerware UPS battery backup systems with 90 batteries each (540 total) for up to 80 minutes of UPS battery backup power.
Two Cummins diesel generators, a 1.5 Megawatt 16 cylinder diesel with a 2200 gallon diesel fuel tank, and a 1.0 Megawatt 12 cylinder diesel with a 2000 gallon diesel fuel tank, can operate for 15 days without a refuel.

Cooling
and humidity is controlled by twenty-three 26-ton Data Aire downflow air conditioners, designed to run in complete redundancy for maximum reliable cooling.
Highly trained on-site
staff meet aggressive SLA's to ensure maximum uptime and fastest
possible recovery in case of a hardware failure. NOC personnel are
well trained with CCNA, CCNP, CCSA, CCSE, MCSE and other certifications.
The NOC is fully staffed with a minimum of 40 technicians, 24/7/365.
